and my first day of work is over !woke up at 6am, got to the NYGH bus stop at 6.35, waited till 7.15 before getting onto the bus.and i reached the work place at around 7.45. so i sat and waited and waited and waited for 8.30 to come. and the worse was that i didnt have a pass to enter so as all the staff were entering, i was stuck outside just like any other person waiting to barge into the bank when it opened at 8.30am (looks like it's gonna repeat itself cos i still dont have a pass). actually it's quite amazing i stood from 8.30-4.30, before i sat down to write some labels from 4.30-5.30.thank goodness the person in charge saw that i was so bored and restless standing where there was NO QUEUE.so she brought me into the staff area to fill up the labels for the prosperity packs.and lunch was such a rushed affair.tellers only have half an hour for lunch, so they usually have to da pao back.otherwise they'll eat at the same old nearby places (far east). and the 鱼片米粉was not that much for $3.50.but oh well that was lunch. shall take another route tml, whereby i shall only get up at 7am and take train down.alrite i know im gonna have to squeeze with the office crowd but bear with it ! and i saw hann ! it was so funny like we both looked at each other for a split second.how unexpected.so she's working nearby too ! too bad i dont have time to lunch with her =( eliz shared a cookie at Sunday, January 28, 2007

the video for 两只恋人 is finally up !ronnie was saying that 曹格 sings nicely cos he has a short tongue ! now that i think abt it maybe it's true ! maybe that's why he cant smile properly =p but anyway he's such a sweet, shy guy.and so cute with his specs ! and do you know which part i like best in the whole vid? it's the part where he defeats the fatty guy, then runs off with the girl and turn into the panthers/lions/cheetahs/tigers.and then the girl taps him and he rejects, before they hold hands.so sweet ! =) enjoy ! =) and work starts tml ! i have to drag myself out of bed at SIX AM ! oh gosh it's back to school all over again.and if you guys are anywhere near liat towers tml come visit me ! eliz shared a cookie at Saturday, January 27, 2007

we had our first yu sheng of the year today !i grated the carrot and cucumber, and mommy cut the apple, pear and orange.i arranged everythng on the platter though.haha.so here's how it looks !  and after 'laoing'  haha! ok so im all alone with my parents cos my lucky sisters have gone for the SHE CONCERT ! ok it was a choice thing but i decided not to go.hahahah. but they're real lucky.this time SHE has brought guest performers 飞伦海 and GET THIS 孙燕姿 ! oh my gosh it's so worth the $130 per ticket ! the last time they came they didnt bring anyone at all ! but anyway.work starts on mon ! im not dreading it but maybe standing for 8h a day IS quite a scary thing.five-and-a-half days a week.oh gosh. eliz shared a cookie at Thursday, January 25, 2007

went for the briefing at kelly services at international plaza yesterday night.turns out it's more than just telling people to stay in line and not cut queue ! so being a customer service officer, i'll have to carry a lovely basket containing sweets and ang paos, distribute to those in queue, then fill up the forms for them.and it depends on whether they are exchanging cash (green form), withdrawing using their savings book(brownish red form) or using card (red form). so it's reallie interesting afterall ! i think im lucky to have got such a job and such a good location too =) HURRAY !  i think im gonna love my job ! on another note, i had to shop for three white tops at j8 today.work related but just nice looking and presentable tops.ended up spending 37bucks AND my mom is only sponsoring till i get my pay cheque. BOOHOO. i still plan on getting nice but comfortable shoes and maybe a nice skirt.oh dear.im gonna be so broke. mom i need my pocket money ! sometimes i wish there was still sch so i'd still be getting my weekly pay.damn ! eliz shared a cookie at Sunday, January 21, 2007

i am feeling so faint and light headed.all thanks to someone's friendster profile which i was browsing containing a picture of a dead cat.i mean maybe if the cat died on it's own it's not so bad.even though it'll still freak me out. but it looked as though they killed it and even drowned it. i absolutely CANNOT understand why such sick people exist in our society.is it the stress? the pressure or family affairs which they cant handle? why do they have to turn to abusing animals and even to the extent of killing them. with the recent spate of cat killings in old airport road and some place in the west (cant rmb), i think the singapore soceity is being less humane or otherwise, we're having even more lunatics and insane people on our streets.which brings to mind, WHY are they doing such stuff? what caused them to end up like that.is killing animals such a fun thing to do? if u take killing animals as killing a living thing, one which can feel, is breathing and has a life of it's own, it's accrue to murder.yes and i dont see why it is gonna make anyone feel any better. i wonder if our society is becoming too conceited with our own needs and neglecting the minority who need our support.or could it be that compassion and love simply does not exist in our world anymore? in this new era, maybe the fast-paced life and ever changing technology has made us even colder and more unfeeling towards each other and much less animals.could that be it? whatever it is, even if i can tolerate smokers as compared to how i used to hate them in the past, if i can try to understand people with serious illnesses and feel for them, i absolutely and will never ever tolerate animal abusers. there ive got it off my chest, and hopefully i'll feel better in a while. if anyone finds animal abusers, please dial the SPCA hotline at 62875355. im appealing to every singaporean or anyone who sees such evil and inhumane deeds being committed. and i hope the cats and animals run for their own good.for i cant imagine such lovable creatures being killed. eliz shared a cookie at Friday, January 19, 2007

soooooo had a nice lunch today with sze and jo ! haha and jo was late as usual =pthink the RiceTable wasnt a bad choice at all, considering it was quiet, buffet/ala carte style and also quite affordable.so yeah we ate till we were bursting full and had to walk it off.haha.think the satay was nice, and the dishes were all not too bad.i like it when they served it on the ricetable, to keep the food warm and also the small little servings so that we could try every dish on the menu. so if anyone is interested, the RiceTable we went to was at 43-45 Cuppage Road CUPPAGE TERRACE Singapore 229463 tel : 67359117,67359127 fax: 67359127 'The RiceTable is the only restaurant in Singapore to serve an authentic Dutch Rijsttafel. went to ikea today and got a springform tin.much needed for baking my cakes (due to my super free time).10 meatballs for lunch with the super yummy sauce and lingonberry jam.mmmm.too bad no space for dessert.and it rained and my shoes got all soaked thru.my umbrellaa felt as though it was gonna lift off but thank goodness it stayed rooted to it's handle.sheesh. still on a job hunt.sigh. hope lunch with jo and sze will be cool tml =) 12pm at somerset control station ! eliz shared a cookie at Saturday, January 13, 2007

soooooooo someone called me with a job from the 1st to 16st feb ! all thanks to kellyservices im gonna work at DBS at Liat Towers ! but as a person who makes sure no one cuts queue and all that.hahah.but alrite i dont mind the 5 1/2 work day week since ive been slacking around and not being able to find a nice job.LANDMARK IN MY LIFE !but it comes with it's advantages ! not to mention the slight financial freedom, i also can get new banknotes to put in ang paos (for my mom) without having to queue and maybe the ang paos too ! hahaha. on wed when i went to check out a 'japanese company' (quotes by the guy over the phone) at '3 Kelantan Lane' with the entrance found betwn a 'salon and motor shop', it was super scary ! i beat it out of there.turns out that Jln Besar area is full of smokers and gangster-like people.freaky.and the office lot was weird.the door looked as though it belonged to one of a fire exit ! gosh.and the office as just partitions and cubicles.sheesh.like a cell.so no thanks ! and now to look for a job to fill up the blank space after the 16th !  seen the new iPhone? gosh it's love at first sight ! i changed my blogskin ! something more pink and feminine.decided that it's time to do away with the black backgrounds.haha.anyway grandpa has been discharged from hospital ! hurray ! so we had our first dinner with him after his discharge last night.and they'll be leaving on sunday (whew) after extending their tickets from the 3rd.sooo it's the last 3 days with them. actually the last two days were probably the crappiest in my life.cried three times in two days.and i think it's cos of grandparents-related stress + return-to-school stress + pms. and anyway grandma's driving us nuts.cos she's got this reallie bad habit of going thru our stuff, opening our cupboards, cabinets, fridges.so it's quite annoying and getting on all our nerves.furthermore she has dubious habits which question her hygiene.i mean, how could we eat the marks and spencer's cereal after she dug her hand into it ! gross. and the report said that she has diabetes (NOT mild diabetes as she claimed) and she just cannot stop herself from pinching our food.as in the biscuits, sweets, and tidbits we leave lying around the house and fridge which are sugar laden.it's not gonna do her nay good.but she cant help herself ! and i dunno why she stopped taking her medicine 3 days ago.sigh.when i grow old i hope i dont end up like that. today's the 12th day of xmas ! oh my gosh i feel like killing blogger.the whole longg post i typed like 15mins ago just disappeared ! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.now i shall have to do it again !anyway 2007 is finaliee here ! not that i was looking forward to it, but a new year signifies a new start ! well personally i think we 'celebrated' new year in a better way that xmas itself. slept in till late before going to sizzler for lunch.amazingly when we reached at 1.30pm, they said they were closing at 2.30sharp.but we still went in anyway.and i shldnt have had the breakfast =p and yan meanwhile made dad(and/or mom) a nice sundae.haha.consisting of watermelon and canned pineapple slices for the base, vanilla ice cream, topped off with strawberry syrup, canned peaches and a nacho ! looks good doesnt it ?
and then we had a fantastic dinner at home.simple but nice =) complete with sparkling champagne ! cheers !
MY RESOLUTIONS for 2007 ! 1. lose weight ! 2. get my desired A level cert 3. enter a uni of my choice 4. go out more ! 5. meet with cheryl and oslyn more 6. have fun with my clique !
