been super busy with uni activities these five days (from wed-sunday) but it's a fruitful csp with many new friends made.was in group 11 and we're quite a big group. first day- getting to know each other.we made friends and got to know each other.another of those 'amazing race' stuff to beat other groups.well even though we were quite slack and hardly ran we still came in 4th.mainly briefing and stuff to get us into the 'mood'.
third and fourth day- car foam party.actually it's more like a charity carwash held at holland v.think the first day was much more busy then the second even though it rained both days.but saturday was much more rainy haha.which was good ! we were still so tired out after both days.but we must have washed millions of cars ! and then dinner at 来来sumthng which is a taiwanese eatery at bugis was rather awkward but the beef noodle was yummy nonetheless =)
so today i finally had the chance to sleep in later after 5 long days ! but there's so much to do still like tidy up my room, go for dental appointments and maybe go out before i have no time again ! ps: somehow my post seems kinda boring ha.like just reporting the facts.think im still quite exhausted. eliz shared a cookie at Sunday, July 15, 2007

once again it's been more than a week since my last post ! how ironic it is to think that once i stop work or schooling, i'll have more time to do whatever i want and maybe some stuff which i wanted to try and never had the time to do.13-15 july anyway im reallie tired now cos i just got back from FTB (freshman team building) camp, run 1, hald at OBS east coast ! think the activities this morning were the main killer.but it was reallie fun playing all those games which i had never played before, like the slithering over soap while getting water bombed, and having to literally be showered with sea water while hugging a leaky barrel.i think they're much more innovative and probably have more space to play around with, so the games are refreshing.as compared to aj where there were NO water games (conserve water lol) so it was a nice change. and i like my team though we took a longer time to warm up.everyone reallie puts in their best for the team in order for us to be faster and more efficient.okay and i admit it's weird (how should i put it) that only me and angeline are 18 and the rest are older than us.maybe im just too used to having everyone at the same age! hmmmmmmm am i too quiet? like what i said im in btwn crazily enthu and not enthu when the right times come.just have to see if the time calls for it.maybe ppl who dont know me well would think that im unwilling to contribute or im just plain lazy to actually think of sumthng.but for me im usually more involved in a supporting role, than reallie leading in the task.so when i hear an idea which is more or less feasible, i would usually let them try it out first to see whether it can reallie work.unless there's sumthng reallie wrong and is a sure 'death', i'll usually let their ideas take shape first.and also, i know that im not the sort to warm up to others that quickly, especially total strangers.maybe you could say that im more cautious cos i dont know the ppl that well yet, and dont wanna come across as too overbearing or whatever.know what i mean? ah haha.and it's also not easy making friends from scratch when others already know others.it's not reallie the same as when everyone is at the same 'level'.but it's alright everythng turned out more or less fine with many new friendships forged =) so what was significant? 1. sleeping in a super hot tent ! 2. sliding over soap with bare hands and knees 3. rafting and paddling like crazy, and the yucky, squishy sand-filled shoes 4. getting 'bathed' with sea water while clinging onto the leaky barrel 5. running together as a team with the flag 6. our 八百 cheer ! =) 7. the faci segment of the campfire finale night 8. SPARTANS won ! (could say it was expected haha) 12 july went out with jo, elea, sze and ping to celebrate jo's birthday (a belated celebration).hope she liked her present, we had quite a hard time choosing haha.but that was based on instinct =) oh and i managed to buy two more tops from dorothy perkins and my black formal pants for convocation from g2000.at least i dont look half as fat in that pair! and then dinner at fish & co. where once again, we spilt water on our table ! okay actually both times it wasnt our fault.the first was at riverside indo where some customer banged our table, and this time it was the waiter pouring water himself.we're jinxed ! but i think the fish & co. at ank hub is kinda small and sucky.think the waiters are quite aj-ish themselves.lol ! okie think i shall end off here and go to sleep.my comfy bed ! no more hard floor and sleeping bag =p eliz shared a cookie at Saturday, July 07, 2007

oh my ive been kinda busy so i havent even had time to update ever since i ended work last week !significant events in the past wk : END OF WORK ! - so that's the end of my worklife at ________(best not to be said lest it complicates matters), and i guess leaving was hard in some sense.like no more hanging out with my wonderful colleagues and finding out reallie cool stuff which we never even knew existed.and going out for lunch together, taking the bus to and from the company.i hope they're all doing fine =) i think the worse part was that i forgot the bengawan solo cake which auntie bought for me on friday, and i left it in the fridge (out of sight, out of mind). so when daddy went to collect it ytd morning someone had already cleared it away. sighhhhhhhhhh.i feel so bad ! like i didnt appreciate her effort and left it there over the weekend.but i reallie reallie forgot ! oh dear.  here's the lunch which our boss See Mai treated us to on my second last day of work.it's XO yu pian mi fen which was reallie reallie yummy ! i never knew such a place existed yeah =p i just loved the soup. three months reallie did past in a flash. LITTLE SIS' 13th BDAY ! -
and tml, i shall go for matriculation and see which camp date they're gonna allocate me, which will determine whether im going to hk to shop or not =p eliz shared a cookie at |
