Two days of feeling fat. shucks ! i am getting fat.went to school for two meetings (comms presentation tml!) but managed to sneak out for lunch at Dirty Nelly's. it's an irish pub somewhere near raffles link which is pretty quiet during lunch hour. so here's what we got:
 guiness pie wth beef. loads of baked beans. honey mustard chicken club sandwich.  shepard's pie with vegetables. irish speciality- bacon rolled chicken. dessert ! bread and butter pudding (i love the plump raisins). warm apple pie with haagen vanilla ice cream haah. so yeah it's a pretty nice quiet place with reasonable prices =) and the food aint bad. especially the portions omg. eliz shared a cookie at Saturday, November 17, 2007

Haagen daz again !
 my two scoops of melon and strawberry cheesecake ice cream. a lil too full to have a fancy concoction like everyone else haha. yun with her tropical themed sundae. mango sorbet and strawberry ice cream, layered with whipped cream and strawberry jam. grandma with her three scoops of strawberry, coffee and macademia nut ice cream. with a warm apple pie (my weakness ! ).  dad and mommy looking happily in love with their 6 scoops of ice cream in a waffle basket.  and here's what it looks like close up. i just love the deco <3anyway am i glad that this week is over ! week 13 of term 1 has probably been the week i stayed the latest in school so far.mon, tues and wed; each day later than the last. but it was worth it =) ltb final presentation was exactly how we wanted it to be. court case style and totally to the point. all thanks to the late night rehearsals ! but im gonna miss my group. one sem together is just wayyyyyyyyy too short ! will miss all the crappy times we had together. special thanks to yan ping (mama ! ), malcolm, jian bin, joshua, ambrish and jun zhe for all the times we shared to make our ltb a success =) eliz shared a cookie at Friday, November 09, 2007

week 12 has gone !this week has been pretty good, with the last report for twc completed (finally!).and not to mention deepavali holiday haha. anyway i went cable skiing for the first time ! actually honestly speaking cheryl and i were quite tired and weren't too excited about the whole thing.but thank goodness oslyn was there hahahhaha.i guess once you get started you feel like just getting it right. so the first time we were recommended the skis, which were reallie super hard.i just kept falling down in the water over and over.spending more time swimming back to the shore, queuing, and falling again. luckily we decided to try knee-boarding instead because it was easier (to some extent) though i fell loads of times and drank galleons of salty water.haha.but i've still yet to complete half a round ! i think getting the hang on it requires alot more time. and my arms and everywhere are still aching today. maybe the bowling a day after the skiing wasn't such a good idea afterall haha. there's make-up LTB class tomorrow morning.ugh sat morning 8.30am. yesterday was my day off ! momo and i went out for lunch.actually we didn't decide on where to go but was thinking of j8 since we had to buy tickets for the movie on saturday night.and then as we were driving there, momo suddenly had the idea of going to try out the Crazy Ang Mo store which the newspapers have been raving about for the past few weeks. so eventually we found it at Bishan street 24, block 729 (or something like that).and i called the Crazy Burger with the Lot which the sunday times has been talking about cos of the beetroot and fries. here's what it looks like:  the burger and a whole bed of fries hmm my verdict? not as good as i expected it to be. first, there were too many fries (okay okay i know some of you must be wondering, huh, i thought more should be better ! ). but i think they gave wayyyy too many fries.i left more than half behind.considering i still had to finish up the burger.and then, the burger wasn't as good as i expected somehow, though it was terribly filling. momo had fish and chips and she gave almost half her battered fish to me.cos it was kinda soft and mushy, with the muddy taste.unfotunately i still can tolerate that so i had to eat it lol ! anyway im a day late, but HAPPY HALLOWEEN ! eliz shared a cookie at |
