so the last day of the year is here !it went past reallie fast, faster than i imagined i guess. well dont things always seem faster when they're more fun ? anyway this is what i resolved to do this year : MY RESOLUTIONS for 2007 ! 1. lose weight ! 2. get my desired A level cert 3. enter a uni of my choice 4. go out more ! 5. meet with cheryl and oslyn more 6. have fun with my clique ! (sze, elea, ping and jo) 7. make more friends 8. maintain current friendships 9. maybe have a work experience? 10. pick up a skill or two so how many did i fulfill ? 1. lose weight ! hmm i dont think i managed this at all :( more like the opposite in fact. 2. get my desired A level cert yup i couldn't ask for more :) 3. enter a uni of my choice haha my choice was smu ! 4. go out more ! hmm i dunno about this one.go out as in go out for fun? to study? going out to study i did do alot more haha. 5. meet with cheryl and oslyn more hmm we didnt meet up alot actually. maybe 3 times, or 4.and a few accidental meetings too haha. 6. have fun with my clique ! (sze, elea, ping and jo) hardly even met up ! twice in the whole year? how sad.but we did have fun while we were tog haha. 7. make more friends yeah this i did for sure :) 8. maintain current friendships yup tried to keep in contact. 9. maybe have a work experience? haha definitely accomplished. twice :) 10. pick up a skill or two hmm hmm. skill..maybe i did, maybe i didnt oh well. yup so that sums up 2007. i think it was a great year for me actually, so many new things and so many more friendships. a good year to remember in the years to come :) anyway im still wondering whether i shld go crowd at marina bay to catch the fireworks.ugh. eliz shared a cookie at Sunday, December 30, 2007

oh my the year is about to end !anyway there's nothing much happening these few days after i got back from hk, just trying to recouperate and get ready for the start of school again (sigh). had dinner at hoshi (japanese) at imm. here's some pictures :)     eliz shared a cookie at Saturday, December 22, 2007

yup here's the china trip !actually there wasn't much new cos i went there 2 years ago and visited the same places and restaurants too haha. and amazingly the weather wasn't as cold as it was 2 years ago ! i guess global warming is reallie taking it's toll on our world.  mushroom hotpot on the first night. it was alright cos we went there before but at another branch. it was nice and warmed us up though. dim sum first thing in the morning of the second day. it was pretty okay and price was reasonable. i think china has more and more small cafes now. the entrance of tiger hill with a nice bridge. i think we mostly blocked the scenery lol ! the restaurant gave me a super big bowl of birthday noodles ! actually there's nothing much other than noodles and one egg haha. the more-oriented-towards-spicy dinner we had to celebrate my birthday. we've eaten there before but at another branch haha. we celebrated the night before my birthday in the hotel. haha and the cake WAS NOT the super creamy sort for once ! it was more chocolatety at least haha. took us 3 days to finish up the cake. cute bird ! i guess it's cold haha. my birthday night ! there were fireworks in suzhou just next to the lake. pretty sight =) zhou zhuang ! the second time ive been there. i think it's becoming even more tourist-y now and caters more to ppl like us. the baked rice which i attempted to finish on my own (because no one wanted to share with me sigh). i managed to eat half, and the other half i only ate the ingredients (leaving the rice).it made me so bloated i didnt even feel like having dinner. food republic in shanghai ! the raffles city there is huge. with super branded goods and there's hardly anyone around ! and yong he da wang where we always frequent for our soya milk and xiao long bao.sadly the quality seems to have gone down this time. lunch at our fav dong bei cai restaurant. and amazingly it has been refurbished ! much more classy now as compared to when we went 2 years ago haha. dessert at tang cao, which is a hk chain opened in taiwan, china and even japan. there's the yang zi gan lu which we had numerous times during this trip lol. guess what's in this dessert? it's actually beancurd with pearls and lily bulb. which was pretty nice haha. the shanghai financial district, otherwise known as pudong. we stayed in that area this time instead of in the city. i think it's quieter here but when rush hour comes the train is just insanely crowded ! and at the main road of yuyuan. reallie looks like china haha. the ppl making the xiao long bao. there's this long long queue at yuyuan which we also tried the last time we went haha. it's kinda cheap. only 24rmb for 24 baos ! which makes it less than S$0.20 per bao! that explains the long queue. we took the maglev train to the airport. first time :D it was pretty fast and scary and got me a little dizzy. there's the max speed of 431km/h which only lasted for around 1min. so we got to the airport in about 7mins ! yup i'll be heading to hk on early sunday morning and back on the 26th ! eliz shared a cookie at Wednesday, December 05, 2007

im going to china tml ! haha actually in a few hours time.im supposed to be sleeping now so that i can get myself out of bed at 4plus am, and not oversleep ! but instead im facebooking now !! oh no hahaha.anyway i got my dream camera ! and i reallie mean dream cam cos i DID dream of it about half a year ago. and it was weird cos i never even thought of the camera till it appeared in my dream one fine night. the pink t20 ! hahahah :D
