joanna wang ruo ling ! i was utterly shocked to see her in person and she totally looks different from her cd cover !!!! maybe it's the hair. i dunno maybe it's everything. and so few ppl turned up, kinda sad eh.

and then we went to dhouby with a motive in mind: to try the mango ice ! hahah something yp and i wanted to do since ages ago but didnt have the time or chance.

this is a regular for $7.50. mango, ice, milk and a scoop of ice cream.



verdict- pretty good ! though the ice cream was the typical fakish mangoish taste, the mango bits were sweet and the ice was reasonably fine haha. so yeah that gave us motivation to drag our tired feet all the way to dhouby :)

anyway while i was at borders today, i was browsing thru this picture book containing all the pictures taken by the planet earth crew. and the pictures were reallie damn freaking nice ! i almost wanted to buy the book, except that it cost a hefty close to 60bucks, and considering my current financial situation.. sigh.

anyway some of the animals i saw reallie left an impression on me !


Animal #1 - Pika

and a fully grown one. dont you think they are just adorable ! just like a hamster/mouse/guinea pig !

some stuff taken off wiki : Pikas are also called rock rabbits or coneys. It is also known as the "whistling hare" due to its high-pitched alarm call when diving into its burrow. The pika may look like a hamster, but is actually a cousin of the rabbit. The name "pika" appears to be derived from the Tungus "piika", or perhaps from the Russian "pikat", to squeak.

Animal #2 - Adelie Penguin

Animal #3 - Polar Bear

PS: i so hate grouping for projects ! ughhh.

hanying and i reached dhouby mrt at around that time, and to our horror it was pouring ever so heavily. so we were stuck with a whole crowd of people.

and thank goodness for the 7-11 ! decided to buy the last umbrella which was ugly but functional nevertheless.

and so we made our way to the admin building thru the flooded ground and wind which blew the rain onto us. yeah and it was muddy and gross.

and my slipper decided to fail me ! the sole kinda came off halfway and i half to walk around like a cripple in the rain.

finally, reached admin building all wet and miserable and cold. and just in time for the biz law paper at 9.00am. and they didnt start one minute later ! tsk tsk imagine if you were late or stuck somewhere cos of the rain ! unsympathetic people.

haha yeah it was fun destressing just when the exams are around the corner. andddd we sang so many old english songs ! right jo ! hahhaha. and 5h passed so fast !
