following that, went to meet krys and joel for dinner at orchard. and like what joel said, i havent seen him in agesss. like since the a level results. so yeah, it was catching up time and mostly gossiping :p

we had a hard time deciding where to eat, and finally decided on Spageddies. the service was awful, at least our food was nice. and we laughed ALOT.

then went to the Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge in taka for dessert. which i never knew existed until saturday hahah. i think the cakes weren't that appetizing but they werent cloyingly sweet, since i was already quite full from the pasta.

blueberry cake, cranberry and almond cake, and summer berry cake.

and i kinda forgot they upped the cab fare, so yeah instead of 3bucks from kovan mrt to my house, it's now $3.20 :( imagine it only used to be $2.80 !!

im so broke now !

i think ive been spending an average of $10-15bucks per meal last week, not to mention all the misc fees you spend when you happen to roam around orchard everyday. and so i decided to eat in at the canteen today. and there was this reallie super worth it teriyaki chicken set lunch with rice and soup and the portion was HUGE. but then.. when i was halfway thru it i found a baby roach in the chicken/veg. okay great but i continued eating after feeling pretty horrified. i guess i wont be eating from that stall again. the first and last time :\

been so sleepy these few days. been planning to update but kept falling asleep early. and im totally stuffed now cos i ate 4 pieces of durian before dinner. been having a whole variety of fruits lately, like durian, longan, duku, mangoesteen. i guess it's the season.

had to rush over during lunch hour yesterday to buy the tickets for me and sze from ps. and in the end the seats next to me were somehow empty :\

i think the movie was worth my 10bucks. and honestly i guess it's the must-catch of summer so yeah. some parts were quite scary though, i think it's the way they built up the atmosphere and stuff. didnt have the guts to quite see, so concentrated on my takopatchi instead. and of course, heath ledger as the joker was like what they publicised - maniacally good.

i think it's supposed to be a heart :D

saw the planes flying up together to the centre and then forming the 5 lines. see sir raffles over there ?

oh and i went to attend jasmine's dance concert - dance garage. it was not bad, but since i already had a sneak preview on wed i kinda knew what to expect. so it was more of paying for the experience of sitting in vt, with my group of friends and just enjoying the atmosphere haha. oh yeah and their costumes. gotta help out with backstage tml !

the cup of sugary sweet, tasteless jelly topped with a brownie lump

the picture is misleading. the 'pudding' was more like tasteless coloured jelly which just tasted like sugar syrup in jelly form, and a lump of brownie. the brownie tasted okay, but then the picture and the real thing are totally not the same.

and they were having a foodfair in the event hall, so we went to take a look. ended up buying these egg tarts and their variations. 6 for $8!


me and hanying bought 6 each, and brought it back to office.

when i got home and opened the box, i was thinking to myself, how come i dont see the apple one i ordered? i thought that the person heard wrongly and took the wrong ones for me.

then i was thinking how come i have so many savoury ones? i couldnt even rmb which few did i order or identify them at all. so i had to cut everyone into half to check.

then i realised..

i took hanying's box, and she took mine!

hahah i think it was funny ! to think that it didnt even occur to me in the first place. until ages later. the whole thought process was almost complete lol. the worse part was that she was already eating in the office but didnt think of it either. goodness.
