thank goodness the week has ended ! been busybusy, but fulfilling as well :)first thing, I PASSED MY FTT ! and on the first try too hahaha. had such a hard time mugging for it from mon-wed night cos im always so sleepy when i get home from work. but nothing from the manual side was tested ! ah and i took such a long time to try and understand it. and my boss was understanding, like letting me leave earlier (and thank goodness for that for i got there just on the dot). plus support from my colleagues. and then working on the gourmet club stuff from friday night over to sat morning. having survived the airconless sr haha. and snacking on gem biscuits in the middle of the night :D always had a weakness for those biscuits, i rmb eating like the biscuits up and then leaving the sugary tops to eat after. speaking of which, im starting to have a weakness for cococrunch and honeystars again :) and oh, I WANT A STARBUCKS COFFEE JELLY FRAPPPPPE badly ! my workplace has a coffee bean downstairs though, but the starbucks is quite a walk away :( possibly spoke to one of the most saracastic (potential, but not anymore) candidates over the phone this week. gave me quite a shock that ppl would actually be that rude, but funny in a twisted sense all the same. i dont see why people shld be rude when ppl call up with a job offer, it wont kill to just decline politely right? maybe im mistaken lol. but anyhow, i also got called by someone working at the same exact place as me, so it was quite amusing. so yup, they got my contact from the survey form we filled when we got the brands essence of chicken during exam week.. so next time.. and cheryl is back from australia ! sorry for having to cancel your bday plans os, hope you understand. we'll make it up next week though, something to look forward to ! Happy Birthday to you. didnt have a huge celebration, i guess due to my grandpa's passing which wasnt long ago, so we had a simple meal at home. and we made a cake for him :D kinda last min decision cos i couldnt find any canned cherries at stupid shop and save (wanted to make black forest at first). luckily we had strawberries at home so i used those instead ! first time trying out a strawberry gateau which was modified from a chocolate cake recipe. didnt want something too sweet or fattening. was scared that it would turn out too sweet/awful but it was alright ! :)      happy that i managed to clear all the deliverables due this weekend :D feel a sense of accomplishment. but ive yet to fill up my exchange worksheet which is going be time consuming.. sigh. gotta do it soon soon. eliz shared a cookie at Wednesday, June 10, 2009

****** HOME MADE GOODNESS ******   of course this was like 3 weeks ago when i still had time, and strength to bake stuff hahaha. the chocolate chip muffin turned out quite weird though, i think cos we kinda improvised from a blueberry cupcake muffin so it ended up not reallie sweet enough and kinda dry. and my first time prawning ! though it turned out to be 3h of sitting and getting nothing but blackouts and sleepy spells. os caught her first prawn ever ! apparently where we went had too many ppl and too few prawns, and i guess the morale booster would have been the one at bishan. hahaha so it's not my fault that i didnt catch anything !  the proud prawn catcher and her prize !   they provided us with frozen prawns (thank goodness) or else our money would have been just for ONE(?) prawn ! so we had a yummy supper though we spelt kinda awful and woke up sleepy on wed hahahaa glad it's the weekend ! so many deliverables due this weekend, plus it's my dad's birthday on sunday ! mom's against kbox cos of swine flu (closed room air con place) and not reallie for prawning either so i dunno what we're gonna do :\ im going to rest sufficiently to recharge ! (i just realised that i continued this blog post on fri night when my com hung on wed night, so no wonder the date is still wed, but im typing about the weekend) ps: robinsons is having a sale !
